Lighting

Scroll below to explore a few possibilities how lighting can be made smarter!

Makes Spaces more Bright and Alive

Control the ambience and have the perfect mood setter to any space by making light smart or adopting to smart light. Though when we talk about making the lighting experience intelligent we not only aim at making things look fancy but adding efficiency and lowering the electricity bills too. No more is it exciting to visually see the light source. Concealed and defused light which is spread evenly and provides the right amount of luminosity is the real goal today. Creating provisions for these helps you to control light from anywhere in the world, set schedules, integrate it with alarms and sensors and auto on-and-off the lights.

We all have been at the place to shout at someone to switch off the lights. While we are still yelling Alexa, Google or Siri, they get the job done for a large span. Not only that but we can control lights from anywhere in the world, at anytime and with just a flick of a touch. While most smart bulbs have a DIY system which anyone can install, we are talking about making each and every single light in the building controllable, at a touch. Not only ideal for homes, but hospitals, hotels, offices, school all will soon switch to smarter control of lights which can be managed remotely. Not only will it make life simpler but also help keep a watch on energy consumed, save energy through schedules and also control the luminance at each space.

The light follows you!

Controlling lights without even doing anything is the magic we’ve all been waiting for, for so long. As simple as the automatic light in the fridge, we wish to switch all doors to that fridge door. No hassle to switch any light on or off. With sensors which will know your presence, sense daylight, sense opening of the door and even sense how much brightness is required at the moment one might never have to worry about flicking a switch on or off. Ideal for public bathrooms, storage rooms, passages, porches and entryways, it’s such a blessing in disguise for the users. The chalange here is mostly what type of sensors to opt for and the right position of placement for it. That’s exactly why we are here to assist; for the most efficient yet optimised utilisation of the sensors to control the lights.

Probably the most exciting feature and the most selling reason of smart lights today is the ability of it to change colours. We are no more limited to 3000k, 4500k or 6000k and have a huge spectrum of colours to play with. Put the hex code of your favourite colour and bam the room is painted. Why paint the wall any shade when you can do it differently everyday. Like a Indradhanush (rainbow) there’s a hue for every mood. Not only do we suggest the designers to use this feature for mood setting but we encourage them to go all out by playing with them on walls and creating art. From public places like hotels, restaurants, shopping centres and salons to banks, hospitals, schools and industries, the right shade of light is so important. With the change of colours we also experience a change in luminosity; we calculate the requirements and design the space which has the perfect lighting.

Bringing light to every corner!

We have noticed a very new and unique utilisation of lights in product design and it’s play. Designers are really going all out with light inclusions in some furniture pieces like wardrobes, beds, tables, work desks, inclusions in wall, wall panelling and even embracing in floors. Our goal is to always encourage experimentation and really put our expertise at its best use. From designing a hair salon to designing an operation theatre in a hospital, task centric light and ambient light, both have an equally important role to play and with untied hands towards exploring newer possibilities one can achieve exactly the right mood and the right light to make sure the work in hand goes smoothly. Hence we have recently branched out to assisting in designing products and furniture and making it smart!

Gone are the days when all buildings looked the same from outside except for a few government controlled or monarchy controlled buildings. Creating a unique and distinct facade is the idea to express one inside and out. Some architects are doing a really good job with their facade designs today. We are here to assist and level up the game. With the right play of lights in the facade, one can create wonders with little cost and small design commitments. Not only will a great light layout improve the aesthetics of the facade but also be at the beck and call of phones and can be turned on and off from anywhere in the world. The beautiful light and dance shows at some heritage buildings can also be achieved with even a simpler control of the program.

Conserve energy by a schedule!

The ever growing list of electrical equipments and appliances, is also leading to hefty electrical bills, on which we have no control anymore. The most common scolding we have all got when younger, was to switch off the lights when leaving. It’s easier now with setting time schedules. The lights will stay off from a certain specified time to another specified time. Perfect for Urban and public spaces where the responsibility to control is distributed and hence leads to omission of tasks. We ensure that energy is conserved and saved for better use. Ideal for office spaces and shops to switch off the lights after the closing hours and switch it back on before anyone arrives.
