Scroll below to explore a few possibilities to make urban smarter!

Urban

Yes, we design for smart cities. For us smart cities are an urban area that uses different types of electronic methods and sensors to collect data. we can design to improve energy distribution, decrease traffic congestion, facilitate trash collection, and even improve air quality with help of IoT. We design to keep the scope of connected traffic lights, better and smarter parking systems, availability of internet and charging docks for devices as well as cars is the new need of today. An automated garbage collection system which will be smart to notify the users and the collectors. Continuous monitoring and surveillance at the minimum cost is what is the trick today. With the ever growing crime rates in today’s urban spaces, we need to have a backup support system to lower the percentages and utilise the human power to those activities which require their knowledge and experience.

A successful camera system layout is the most essential in a secure place. Gone are the days when the cctv guys came months later after the constructed building is put to use and we have a poor show of wires everywhere or wi-fi cameras with poor connectivity which only burn a whole in the pocket. We design an efficient surveillance layout using minimum cameras or mics, maximising coverage and not loosing on the beautiful looks of a place. Placing cameras is not as simple as it sounds, it’s an art and integral part of a good design in todays world. We make sure we satisfy the users, give them a comfortable space to monitor, design control rooms if needed and of course take it all on the phones if required. Lighting is a big challenge in getting high quality footage and we promise to put the cameras to their capacity and keep spaces safe.

Conserve energy by a schedule!

The ever growing list of electrical equipments and appliances, is also leading to hefty electrical bills, on which we have no control anymore. The most common scolding we have all got when younger, was to switch off the lights when leaving. It’s easier now with setting time schedules. The lights will stay off from a certain specified time to another specified time. Perfect for Urban and public spaces where the responsibility to control is distributed and hence leads to omission of tasks. We ensure that energy is conserved and saved for better use. Ideal for office spaces and shops to switch off the lights after the closing hours and switch it back on before anyone arrives.

Gone are those days of advertising with a flex print put on a sign board alongside the roads. There are QLED and microLED displays which come in various sizes for a dynamic advertisement in a crisper quality. There are window screens that can cast a video or a set of photos on it, making it ideal for shopping displays. With the interactive and touch display, not only do we see huge experimentations in marketing ideas but also using it in public places, malls, restaurants, hotels to create a more involving experience which leads to an excited customer. For an eye-catching large-scale viewing experience we suggest video walls. They are a larger than life experience and impersonates a New York’s time square feel with the dynamic ads on the “billboards”. The best part though about these screens are they are energy efficient and great for the environment. Light on the pockets and definitely give back it’s returns in no time.

Production at urban level!

Solar farms are also known as solar parks and solar power stations. They operate as power plants, just like a natural gas power plant or other sources of energy generation that have generated electricity for consumers for the last century.
Unlike residential and commercial systems, they’re decentralised and usually consist of ground-mounted solar panels installed across large areas. In most cases instead of providing power to a local end-user like a homeowner or business solar farms provide power to the electric grid and are part of the utility’s energy mix. There are different types of large solar projects, like community solar farms and utility-scale solar farms. Some solar projects, like those built to power data centres or other large users of solar power, have solar farms built purely for their use—sometimes onsite, sometimes offsite. Indian Government promotes solar generation and has multiple schemes for solar power plants, solar parks and subsidies to procure it.

With the world’s population approaching 8 billion, water is becoming more and more scarce. Up to 70% of world’s water consumption is used for irrigation. It is not surprising that this is also where most of the water withdrawals are wasted. Up to half of the water we spend on irrigation is wasted due to inefficient irrigation methods. Smart irrigation systems tailor watering schedules and run times automatically to meet specific landscape needs. These controllers significantly improve outdoor water use efficiencies. They can simplify lawn and garden care, and reduce water consumption. Instead of fixed timers, these systems draw on data from sensors, weather forecasts and plant-care databases to determine watering needs and deliver just enough moisture at just the right time. Lower your water bill, and check up on your plants from anywhere in the world using mobile and web apps.

Space savings in Car Parking!

With the ever increasing boom in high rise buildings, public spaces like shopping malls, hospitals, hotels, commercial buildings, retail stores - it is essential to keep up with the need to create efficient car parking systems to support the crowd visiting. While creating basements or stilt floors is a compulsion today, it is still not enough and mostly ends up not matching the need. We collaborate with companies into designing highly systematic electronic and mechanical parking systems. from stack parking to turn tables, we’ve got it all covered. Using space vertically to park 2 cars in place of one or giving the cars a chance to rotate without wasting enough space for the u-turns. Instilling parking management systems to cash collection systems, it is not as intimidating as it sounds, we will make sure of it.
